Wings in the Night
- WINGS IN THE NIGHT - A computer painting done in 2005, it appears on the dust jacket of the book, "WINGS IN THE NIGHT," by Robert E. Howard, published by Wildside Press in 2005, as volume 4 in the 10 volume book series, "The Weird Works of Robert E. Howard."
The painting originally appeared on the cover of the book, "The Dragon of the Ishtar Gate" by L. S. de Camp, published by Donning in 1982. However, the swordsman in that painting is a Persian warrior and stands to the right of the woman. For this picture I replaced the Persian warrior with "Conan," and placed him on the left side of the woman. That Persian painting is also item No. 170.
